| 3rd Mar 2009 | To avoid any confusion, I'd just like to point out that the current set-up of the website was put together 3 years ago to promote the album I put out then, 'One Way Ticket'. A lot has changed since then and this website doesn't fully reflect those changes. I am considering the possibility of having a newly designed site with content solely focussed on what I wish to express now.
| 5th Jan 2009 | I've now set up a youtube channel where I hope to put up one or two things. First up is a clip I put together to accompany the song 'Run Rabbit Run', which you can see here:
| 3rd Jan 2009 | Another demo from the 2006/2007 bunch of songs intended for the second album. Feel free to download:
| 3rd Jun 2008 | Free download of the demo of a new song, "In The Wrong Places": (right click and select Save Target As...)
| 11th May 2008 | You can now buy the whole 'One Way Ticket' album in MP3 format from CD Baby. The album artwork and lyrics are included. See http://cdbaby.com/cd/williamd
| 6th Sep 2007 | At the moment I'm taking a break from music. It's been a turbulent year, with a lot of changes in my life and music has had to take a backseat, but I sense something very good is going to come out of it. As it stands, I've got 20-odd songs written and recorded as demos but I may write a fresh bunch in the coming months that are more in line with where I'm at. So the second album will be delayed till next year now. Hopefully it will be worth it!
| 12th Feb 2007 | Just about to mix the demos before deciding which songs should be on the 2nd album. There are 25 in total. Some titles include "All An Illusion", "Conveyer Belt", "Perspective", "Secret Weapon", "Winners & Losers", "Amusement Park" and "Recognise".
| 3rd Aug 2006 | Currently working on demos for a new album...
| 23rd July 2006 | Signed a single song publishing deal with Erik Jackson Music for "When It All Comes Together".
| 2nd Jun 2006 | A review of the album appeared in todays Daily Record - Scotland's biggest newspaper - in the Soundcheck section. Click here to read it.
| 25th May 2006 | Looks like an album review will be in the Scottish Daily Record on Friday 2nd June. Since it's Scotland's most popular newspaper, this is a pretty big deal! I have no idea what kind of review so will just have to wait and see... Also, good to see word-of-mouth starting to happen. I came across this album review from Spain. A good one it seems but it's in Spanish so if anyone can translate...
| 19th Apr 2006 | Another record store, Not Lame, is now selling the album. It's in this week's new releases.
| 17th Apr 2006 | The album is now available for download at iTunes. Also, the first album review has come in from Kangar Radio International where it received a glowing overall 4/5. 'Now & Then' has entered at number 10 in their Top 40.
| 28th Mar 2006 | 'One Way Ticket' is album of the week this week on Croatian Radio Cakovec. Last week I was made artist of the week on Internet Radio UdenCentraal in the Netherlands.
| 23rd Mar 2006 | The album is now for sale at Tower Records for anyone who prefers to shop there.
| 15th Mar 2006 | You can now buy the album direct from me through paypal or with a credit card through the Backstage Commerce system. It's also available at CD Baby. For more details visit the Store page. The site is also continually being updated at the moment. You may have noticed an Influences section has been added within the Biography section and to reflect the growing airplay a Radio page has been added within the Reviews section. Meanwhile, "Outside The Window" is still going well in the Garageband charts.
| 21st Feb 2006 |
"Outside The Window" will once again be Track of the Day at Garageband.com, this time on Tuesday 28th Feb after some more great reviews in the 3rd round.
| 5th Feb 2006 |

| 2nd Aug 2005 | The results for the UK Songwriting Contest 2005 were announced. "Come & Go" made it to the Finalists section (a prestigious place in terms of industry recognition) and the as yet unreleased "One Way Ticket" reached the Semi-Finals. For further info: www.songwritingcontest.co.uk
| 25th Jul 2005 | Recording of all the tracks for the forthcoming album has been completed, so it's into the home straight with only final changes and mixing to be done. Stay tuned for updates!
| 19th Jan 2005 | Happy New Year to everyone! After a short test period of the PayLoadz download system, I am now offering the same selection of songs as free mp3 downloads. This may be your last chance to get hold of these recordings so grab them while you can!
| 6th Dec 2004 | A selection of songs from the 'Head Above Water' EP are now available for download using the PayPal/PayLoadz system. The Xmas song I wrote last year, 'Christmas (C'mon)', should also be available by the end of the week.
| 17th Oct 2004 | For anyone wondering what's happened to Seven Worlds, don't be alarmed... it's still me. I've decided on a name change to David William. Nothing much else has changed, but to avoid confusion over whether I'm a band or a solo artist or whatever else, it makes more sense to front up and put a valid name to the music. Other news... At the moment I'm in the middle of recording a full album of songs with a producer which I plan to release, probably sometime next year.
| 16th Jan 2004 | After much sweat and toil (and a broken
mic stand or two), I finally have a collection of songs ready to release
and so bring you the 'Head Above Water' EP - a 6-track CD of songs recorded
throughout 2003, all written, performed, and dressed up by me!
Check out the Store for futher info.
