A few strange things followed with a Dutch radio programmer showing interest in managing me after hearing "Come & Go" on a station in the Netherlands. Later that year, in 2003, I was contacted by Deen, the 2004 Eurovision entry for Bosnia & Herzegovina who was interested in using some of my songs on his album. Neither of these things materialised.

So in April 2004 I started work on an independent album of my own with the help of local producer, Mick McGarr of Conrad Productions. He took care of the instrumentation and mixing while I recorded vocals and guitars and co-produced. The result was the debut album "One Way Ticket", which was released at the beginning of 2006.

During this whole period - from 1998 to 2006 - I had a nagging disillusionment with life and although I didn't consciously realise it at the time, I was searching for something. I think you can hear this quite clearly on the "One Way Ticket" album.

In 2007 I went through (and am still going through here in May 2008) something of a personal transformation. I now see myself and the world in a completely different light and all illusions have been - and are being - stripped away. What is left is anybody's guess. I'm no longer kidding myself on trying to live some kind of life. Life is now living through me and I'm just here for the ride wherever that may take me.
